Private Beta was just the beginning. Public Beta is now live.

What we learned from our first closed beta — and why we're opening the doors wider.

"The first 100 people who tried Fundsverse taught us something crucial: automation isn't about removing control. It's about removing friction."

— The Fundsverse Team

Private Beta: What We Learned

Two months ago, we invited 100 carefully selected beta testers to help us build Fundsverse during our Private Beta. We wanted to understand how real Africans manage money, what blocks them from saving, and where existing apps fail them.

The results were humbling — and exactly what we needed to hear.

87%

Connected their main bank account within 24 hours. That's not by accident — it means friction matters.

6.2 weeks

Average time before users built a visible emergency fund. Small daily habits compound fast.

4.3x

Users who referred friends. Not because we asked — because they felt the difference.

₦15,000

Emergency fund saved per user in 60 days. Without a single manual entry.

What We Fixed Based on Feedback

💾 Bank Integration Speed

Testers wanted faster bank syncing. We reduced sync time from 5 seconds to under 1 second. Now your transactions appear instantly you refresh.

📊 Better Insights

"I can see I'm spending, but I don't understand why." We rebuilt the Insight page to show spending patterns, recurring subscriptions, and savings velocity — not just numbers.

🎯 Micro-Saving Precision

Private Beta users wanted more control over daily vault deposits. We added custom savings rules — so you can save ₦10,000 on paydays or just ₦500 on regular days.

🔐 Privacy Enhancements

Some testers were worried: "Is my data safe?" We implemented field-level encryption, where even our team can't see your raw sensitive data — only a cryptographic hash.

Why Public Beta is Open Now

After 60 days of iteration, refinement, and learning from our Private Beta users, we're confident that Fundsverse works.

But we're not done. We need more feedback, more edge cases, and more real-world usage to make sure we're building something that truly works for Africans — not just in theory, but in practice.

But we're still not building a mass-market app. We're still invite-only through our Public Beta. Here's why:

  • Stability over hype. We want 1,000+ exclusive users who love Fundsverse, not 100,000 who abandon it after two weeks.
  • Real feedback, not noise. Every invite means we can respond to bugs, feature requests, and edge cases within hours — not weeks.
  • Building a circle, not an audience. Public Beta users become product advisors. They shape what we build next.
